Medha Shekar
Medha ma'am has over 30 years of experience working to improve health, gender equality, and community wellbeing in India. She has done research, training, and advocacy projects with NGOs, research groups, and grassroots organisations. Her work includes senior roles at the Society for Applied Studies, PURWA, and ADITHI. She also serves as a Legal Expert on an ethics committee and is a Board Member of TAAL. She works with children, promotes reading, runs a mobile library, and teaches reading and writing. She believes in learning alongside the children as she teaches. She is also an animal lover, caring deeply for the welfare of all living beings. Medha ma’am, with her deep passion for spreading literacy, found her calling in the Titli programme. She dedicates her time, energy, and heart to working with each child, guiding them with patience and care. Her unwavering commitment and gentle determination make a lasting difference in the lives she touches.

Rochna Ghosh
Rochana ma'am is a special educator with 30+ years of experience in both non-profit and mainstreamed schools serving children with special needs. Since joining a mainstreamed school in New Delhi from 2002 April known for its pioneering role in providing inclusive education. Rochana ma'am has taught children with various disabilities at several grade levels. Having experienced the success and challenges of inclusive education she is committed to positivity transforming the pedagogical experience of inclusivity for both neuro-typical students and students with special needs. She has received a postgraduate degree in special education from AADI, Northern India. In her Fulbright DAT project, Rochana ma'am have studied how children with special needs make social contacts and the role a school environment and teachers can play in facilitating a healthy social ecosystem. She has also written a chapter Amplifying Learning in Special Education in the book ‘Amplifying Learning A Global Collaboration. Her education has provided many opportunities for her to give back to special education. Rochana ma’am, one of our beloved mentors in the Titli programme, is the heart and spirit of so much that we have achieved. Her boundless enthusiasm, unwavering dedication, and zest to grow have carried us forward and shaped the journey we are on today. Our mentors are the roots of Titli – grounding us, nurturing us, and helping us bloom. For them, Titli is not just work, it is part of their head, heart, and soul. The children see them as their own, finding love, trust, and guidance in their care. They inspire us every day to dream bigger, work harder, and take this programme to even greater heights
