Early intervention childhood (EIC) program
The focus is on children (0 – 6 years) who are delayed by the typical development framework. A developmental screening is conducted and a sensory profile is made. Based on the child’s skill set and age, an intervention program is tailor-made for each child. Our therapists and education professionals with expertise in developmental delays provide a targeted understanding of the child’s needs and intervention for the early years in the communication, behaviours, development, social skills, play, emotional, cognitive, sensory and adaptive domains.
Occupational Therapy
Our Occupational Therapy room is equipped with therapists who help children integrate their experiences and learn developmental life skills. This typically includes muscle strengthening and range of motion of the hands and body, work on bilateral coordination, and visual motor skills.
We provide both one-to-one and group sessions according to the child's needs.

Special Education
Special Education helps to provide support and accommodations to children who are struggling with academics at school. It's tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual child, ensuring they have equal access to education and opportunities to reach their full potential.
In special education, we provide an Individualised Education Program (IEP), which is a customised plan outlining a child’s specific educational goals and the strategies they need to achieve them.
Group work (Age 2 years and up)
We believe that group work plays a major role in bridging the gap and helping them learn day-to-day issues. We group children based on their age and skill level, and work towards adjustment in their environment, while simultaneously providing skills and accommodations to children to help them thrive in social settings. Some of the group goals:
-
Language Development
-
Pre-academic Development and School Readiness
-
Socio-emotional Development

Physical Development
Parental Guidance, Counselling, and Training
Parenting can be satisfying and fulfilling. But it can also be difficult and time-consuming. Often it is seen parents struggle to manage multiple roles like providing consistent care, professional/personal work, financial difficulties, maintaining adult relationships, and then a child who is difficult to manage. The need to manage the often-called “undesired behavior” of a child, for example: hitting, pushing, anger, emotional breakdowns, rigidity, emotional absence, and many others, often becomes overwhelming to a parent's well-being. When a child comes to the Healing Nest, the family is given the necessary knowledge, tools, guidance, and most especially support to parents without bias or judgment.
Titli School
Titli, the Hindi nomenclature for Butterfly, symbolizes the enduring transformation of hope and faith.
The Titli Project strives to empower and celebrate the diverse spectrum of each child, recognizing the intricacies and multiplicities that make them unique. We believe in nurturing their individual personalities and supporting their holistic life development.
In regard to the ever-prevalent yet overlooked cases of Neurodevelopmental Difficulties among children in India. The untimely intervention and lack of ease of accessibility to mental health services led the Healing Nest Foundation to launch this program. It was created in place of two fundamental concerns - promoting inclusivity for the less privileged and eradicating stigmatization of special needs children.
Through the program, we strive for a multicultural environment that is sensitive and non-partial towards the individualities and eccentricities of each Titli in our care.
The program aims to integrate and facilitate two different child groups:
-
Children from low-income families and special needs
-
Lesser-privileged children are neglected & deprived of school exposure.
With a team consisting of mental health professionals, the Titli Project serves as an Early Intervention as well as a School Development Program for children aged 4 - 8 years.
With integration and inclusion at its core, the Titli Project envisions a society that ensures all children live a life of dignity and respect. The program is helping these children realise their rights and improve their lives.
We have two facets to Titli Project:
Our Objectives:
School Educational Training Program:
For children who have been deprived of academic education, the program intends to equip them to attain developmental age-appropriate goals in scholastic, social, and intrapersonal domains.
Early & Therapeutic Intervention:
In addition to fostering school readiness and holistic development, the Titli Project also endeavors to support children from low-income families having development difficulties through early intervention and therapy accorded at subsidized charges.
